Almost every real-world PDF carries pages nobody needs: the fax cover sheet, three blank separators from the scanner, a duplicated signature page, or an internal pricing annexure that must not go to the client. Remove Pages deletes them cleanly and leaves everything else untouched.
Rather than making you type page numbers and hope, the tool renders every page as a thumbnail in a grid. You click a page to mark it for deletion — a red cross overlays it — and click again to keep it. What you see is exactly what you get, which matters enormously when you are removing a confidential page from a document that is about to be sent externally.
How to use Remove Pages

- 3Use the select-all / invert controls if you are removing most of the document.
- 4Check the running counter showing how many pages will remain.

Deleting is not redacting
Removing a page removes its content from the file entirely, which is safe. But if the sensitive information is a paragraph within a page you are keeping, deletion will not help — use Redact PDF, which permanently destroys the underlying text rather than covering it.
What happens to page numbers and links
Printed page numbers are part of the page content and do not renumber themselves after deletion. If you need continuous numbering afterwards, run Add Page Numbers on the result. Internal links pointing at deleted pages are dropped.
Supported formats, limits and things to know
- You cannot remove every page — at least one must remain.
- Encrypted documents must be unlocked first.
- Very large documents render thumbnails progressively; you can start selecting before the grid finishes.

How do I delete a single page from a PDF?

Can I undo a removal?
Your original file is never modified — the tool produces a new document. Simply re-upload the original and start again.
Do the page numbers update automatically?
Numbers printed onto the pages are part of the artwork and stay as they were. Add fresh numbering afterwards with the Add Page Numbers tool.
Is deleting a page enough to hide confidential text?
Only if the confidential content is entirely on the deleted pages. Text on retained pages needs Redact PDF, which removes the underlying characters.
Does this work on my phone?
