Extract Pages is the mirror image of removing pages: instead of saying what to throw away, you say what to keep. It is the right tool when you need a small excerpt from a large document — the three pages of a lease that mention the deposit, the results section of a 90-page thesis, or a single certificate from a scanned bundle.
As with Remove Pages, selection is visual. Every page appears as a thumbnail and a click toggles a green check. The extracted pages can come out as one combined document or as separate files, whichever suits how you plan to send them.

Extraction preserves the original fidelity
Selected pages are copied at object level, complete with their embedded fonts and images. There is no re-rendering, so an extracted page is byte-for-byte as sharp as it was in the source and its text remains searchable.
Choosing between Extract, Split and Remove
Extract when you want a few pages out of many. Remove when you want most of the document minus a few pages. Split when you want to divide the whole document into several complete parts with nothing discarded.

- At least one page must be selected.
- Encrypted files need to be unlocked first.
- Annotations attached to extracted pages come across; document-level attachments do not.

How do I save just a few pages of a PDF as a new file?
Upload the document, tick the pages you want in the thumbnail grid, and extract. The output contains only those pages.
Can I extract non-consecutive pages?
Yes. Select any combination — pages 2, 9 and 40 can be extracted into a single new PDF in that order.
Does extracting reduce quality?
No. Pages are copied rather than re-rendered, so the extract is visually and textually identical to the original pages.
Can I get each page as its own file?
